Reflect Orbital

Reflect Orbital is a space technology company based in Hawthorne, California, building satellites that carry large deployable mirrors to redirect sunlight onto specific points on Earth — brightness configurable from roughly moonlight to daylight, delivered on demand with no ground infrastructure.

I work on the composites and manufacturing side, helping get satellite structures built. That covers tooling and process design, the vendor and supplier work that goes with it, and the internal analysis tools that support both.

A lot of the role is advisory. Composites is moving quickly, and much of what I do is keeping track of novel materials, processes, and technologies as they show up, then working out which ones actually fit what Reflect is trying to build and bringing those to the table.
